Here at St. John's, we are a community!

Located in the rural part of the Chambersburg area, we have been serving and in ministry with the families and neighborhoods of our area.   Since our inception, we have been a church looking to grow deeper in our faith, and to be a close-knit community, not just in our church but in the surrounding area as well.

Many of our community have been worshipping and living in this community since they were born or very young, and so we are deeply connected to the well being of our neighbors, and the community around.  Throughout the year, we go into the community and host a wide array of events, which you can find more about here.

Our faith has united us together throughout our hardships and our joys.  We come together to worship God and turn to God in all of our stages of life, and we strive to grow deeper in our faith, knowing that we don't have life or God figured out, and we probably never will, but we strive to grow deeper in our understanding of who God is, and why God has changed our lives forever.

We aren't just a community that comes together on Sunday mornings, but we are a community that enjoys life together.  We are truly a family that enjoys the simple pleasures that life has to offer.  We are rooted in loving one another and we share in each other's moments, the good  and the bad.

For us, church isn't just bible studies, prayer meetings, and worship service, though they all keep us rooted together.  Church is a family.  Working together to make all of our lives better and to help others along the way.  We are deeply rooted together in our faith and growing together in our relationships.
