Worshiping with St. John's

​

Our goal is to make every worship service a meaningful encounter with God for all who attend. We have developed a service that blends contemporary praise music and traditional hymns as well as liturgical elements that link Christians across time and denominational line with a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere unique to our congregation. We pay special attention to services in Advent, which is the time before Christmas in which we prepare for the coming of Christ at his birth; and Lent, which is the time before Easter in which we prepare our hearts for the Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Lord.

At St. John's we invite you to come as you are and sit where you want. We desire a relationship with who you truly are, because we are all approaching God who knows us, who we cannot hid our true selves from.

Our service begins with a time of contemporary worship songs at 10:30am, leading into a service featuring hymns, sharing of joys and concerns, and a the sermon. While we do offer a nursery complete with a volunteer to watch any children, we do love to have them be part of our service as well, and remind us that we are all God's children.
